Designer's Bio

Ana-Cristina Godoy has designed and made fine jewelry for over 20 years. She has her Masters Degree in Jewelry Design from Le Arte Orafe in Florence, Italy, and is a Graduate Gemologist from GIA, Los Angeles. The Robb Report has written about her work twice, with the most recent article in The Robb Report Collection in 2007, which featured her woven 18K gold pieces with Munsteiner cut stones. In the Summer of 2011, Ms. Godoy traveled to Todi, Italy to study under world renowned Master Goldsmith, Giovanni Corvaja.

Ms. Godoy has also taught jewelry design at the university level for many years, and currently teaches jewelry making as well as operates Godoy Jewelry Design Studio and Gallery in Downtown Newton, NC.

Her work has been shown throughout the Southeastern United States in Atlanta, Hilton Head, Charlotte, and Blowing Rock, NC, as well as Southern California in the greater Los Angeles area.
